Wow Ryan.....I realize finding appreciation for other makes on a specific car site can be ltd.....this statement is just unfounded and wrong....aside from your personal opinion about the Z4 looks.That part is yours to keep of course.

Stock Sy/Ty 4.3 V6
Stock Z4Mc 3.2 straight 6

Stock Sy/Ty HP= 285
Stock Z4M Coupe=330

The stock SY/Ty's did 0-60 in 4.3 sec.
The stock Z4M coupe=0-60 in 5.0 flat.

The stock Sy/Ty top speed=
Stock Z4M Coupe= 155mph electronically ltd.

No need to even mention slalom or breaking as to the spread.:oops:

But my Sy hauls ass and plywood great......plus its unique.

And while I still don't think your Ty is gay........I'm thinking your possibly a Homophobe,lol.

I don't get people that get so ruffled when someone doesn't like the car they own. Actually I do get it. I guess I get why people defend their rides but why drag it out until someone has the last word? On a SYTY site no less. That's like taking the stairs when the door to the elevator just opened.

Seems every time someone has an issue with a BMW, TBSS or (insert car here) it always comes down to, "those can go real fast with light mods, WATCH OUT" or "Yeah but if......." yeah but yeah but yeah but.... Really, what happens to people in their experience of each day forms ones opinion about other cars. I could care less if someone doesn't like SyTY's and wont try to sell them one over the internet if they don't like it. Why can't people just leave us alone and let us enjoy our trucks with out having to justify everything we do?

Mike , my focus was more about stock vs. stock. And I certainly don't see me angling to have you like the car I chose, don't care either, much like yourself there....just see the light where your statements were in error. Actually...after re-reading this comment, I see where I misread its meaning. My apology.:oops: I thought you said our 20 year old trucks WOULD out perform in every aspect. My bad there sir.

I'm not sure to whom your directing the last sentence....(" why can't people leave us alone ?").....because I know I AM a Sy peep.

I guess generalizations are where we got off on the wrong footing. I belong to many different brands of car forums (you may too ?)...and quite honestly....one type of owner has not yet bubbled to the surface as the basic car profile owner....yet.

To me.....generalizing that "people who drive 4x4's are Rednecks" or "all Jap car owners are ricers" or all BMW owners are Douchbags"-etc......is just ignorant for the most part.

I love my Sy and also defend its performance and represent it well at events. I'm also open minded to hear someone else talk about their vehicle of choice while they are in front of me describing it with enthusiasm....even if I KNOW its not what they claim.

A little respect can go a long way.:tup:

Oh Mike relaaax friend ! I was speaking of respect for others, not me in particular.:)

As in maybe not telling someone there car is crap/POS/gay/lame/substandard/represents a$$punchers etc.:lol:

You know what I'm getting at,lol.

Although I will admit.....even I had odd thoughts about men who raced Miata's on the track until I realized they were beating well set-up Vettes in SCCA.Very humbling for some.:oops:

My dad always tries to get me to try Chinese food. I can't be near it because the smell literally makes me gag. He calls me narrow minded because I wont try other foods, I know what I like and or will like. I am that guy that doesn't bother with car shows anymore unless there will be a SYTY there because I have already seen everything else ten million times. The "other" guys aren't gay as in, but rapers, they are just gay in the sense that we like our stuff better:lol:

Cars are bad ass regardless of the make, imagine if we didnt had them, all will suck at something and all will be better than others at something.
But we can all agree that sytys for wat they are and the age, you gotta be damn impressed.
