    thanks for the reply, Do you think there is anyway to tell if the engine has damaged internals? It is a used Ty and I'm not sure of the previous owners. Does anybody have any advice on what they would do to check the condition of the Ty before you bought it?

    thanks for the replies, I didn't check if it would go into OD, as for the detonation it sounded REALLY loud under hard acceleration. Is 9K a good deal for this Typhoon?
