Will this do ?

I bought an old block from an Astro Van .Ill do it 0,40 with srps and 4bolt mains.
Is there any difference on this block from ours ? Will the oil filter adaptor fit ?

The SRPs and 4-bolt will take care of the differences

Make sure you have the block thoroughly checked out before you put any money into machine work. Several 4.3 blocks I dealt with had the mains way out of spec (which the 4-bolt should take care of)

There is a lot of core shift in the production blocks. Do a sonic check on the bores. If your machine shop is not familiar with this, walk away. Also make sure the shop is experienced in fitting 4-bolt caps to blocks that were originally 2-bolt. It must be done correctly the first time.
