As for the OD unit for the TH350 and TH400, that would be the Gear Vendors OD, and to the best of my knowledge, there is no way to do that with the SyTy transfer case.

yes there is - you can seperate the transfer case from our trans and mount it closer to the rear with a very short drive shaft. The adapter has already been made. The only difference is you end up with a longer front shaft.

Hey George, thanks for the reply. My tci unit will allow me to have lockup at a certain mph put it will disable / unlock if i go to wot and keep it unlocked until i let off the throttle. thats the way its set now to keep from burning up the converter.

Isn't there a new thing out where you can add an electronic overdrive unit to the back of a th350 or th400? I saw it on the show trucks with project "copperhead". Just pushed the button on the shifter and BOOM overdrive!

Yea it is called Under/Overdrive made by gear vendors. They make 'em in manual or electric versions. They advertise in most popular car/truck mags. It's NOT cheap though.

I just wonder sometimes if some of these people claiming a 700 is strong just like repeat business.

I seriously doubt the syty guys would, but some of these other fly by night claiming 1000hp trans, with warranty but void if raced guys might just like to build there repeat customer base up.
