ok so i have found a killer deal on a sy but it is a fixer upper. the listing has a few easy things but one that he is not so clear on.. in the post he says "Front driveshaft needs new joint." anyone know what he is talking about and how hard and how much parts are to fix this?? thanks guys if this thing looks good i might be a sy owner if i can make it happen.

Post up the ad listing so we can see what's up with the truck to help you out. Also put up the last 4 of the VIN and the asking price. I bet we can provide some type of history on the truck. A replacement front prop shaft is available. Get a good aftermarket unit. There are tricks to get the old one out.
Before you buy the truck, you NEED to read this site and learn about these trucks front to back to you know what you are getting yourself into. If you didn't know what the front shaft was about, you NEED to read, read and read.

ok this is the postin full. And yes it would be a long road ahead of me. thats why i want to pick this up as a project can.. thats if i can get it for the right price. ok here it is.
1991 GMC Syclone All Wheel Drive Turbo Project
62K Miles, Clean title. Needs TLC.
The Good: Turns over and idles smooth, no issues. Straight body. Paint in moderate condition.
The Bad: Turbo is off and needs a new bearing housing. Front driveshaft needs new joint. Bed needs to be aligned. Passenger side fender cladding missing. Drivers fender cladding needs repair.
