WA Wanted: Rear cladding needed for 92 typhoon!!!

Hi guys and gals! :myclone:

My Typhoon got hit the other day at a stoplight. Can you believe that BS? Sigh... I was furious!! :steamer:

Anyways, Our baby has bumper/skin damage, and also a shattered rear cladding piece that fits behind the drivers side rear tire, and meets up with the bumper/valance.

The insurance adjuster believes gm still makes the support? My valance/skin is really not that bad, so that will be repaired, and painted(no crack's at all. Just a few scuff's etc.)

Does GM still carry the bumper, or support for these vehicles, and does anyone out there want to sell the rear cladding piece? Has to be in pretty darn good shape.

Insurance company is paying for it, so bring it on!! NEED IT ASAP!!! :myclone:

GM does not carry the bumper and support.

You may want to get Sportmachines involved, they will work with your insurance company. It's probably a bigger deal than they think due to part availability.

I think your insurance company is going to $h!t a brick when they find out it's going to be around $750 or more for a new old stock one.

. Im gonna have to talk to the the main agent tomorrow and let em know a nos cladding for this damaged truck will cost em 900 bones. They wont be too happy to hear that, that's for sure.

And then, ill have to purchase a bumper support from another member here.

Then, the body shop of my choice will have to r &r, and paint to perfection. etc..

They are trying to send me a whimpy $1400 check, .. I told them "DO NOT" send the check, ill contact my attorney. I still have considerable pain, and get real bad migraine headaches. They wanna settle and forget...

. Well, them insurance companies make billions... A drop in the bucket. Isn't my faul that one of their members cant stop at a red light... He's lucky I didn't kick his ass. My blood was boiling!!. Frickin moron, I swear. ::myclone:

"2FAS4U" is now being worked on by the best body shop around. She is getting the Love she deserves.

We have decided to squirt some new paint on her this summer. Ill post a thread when that happens.
