What a day. Joe (88GTZ, the new guy:lol
stopped by this morning on his way up to Denver to see if we could get his Datamaster figured out. So after we got it worked out and did some test runs I took him for a ride in the wife's Ty. Earlier this morning I was tuning for boost and left off at about 10psi. So on my way to the bank this guy in a black Mustang with a body kit goes zipping by.
I gave chase and caught up with him about a mile or so down the road. We get side by side and get on it. Before we caught him I asked Joe to up my WGDC I had open on TP. I was hoping to run 15psi for this one. So he upped it and I told him to hit the up button to load and he said he did so as far as I knew I was going to run 15psi.
So we're side by side and we both gun it at the same time from about 35 or 40. I had about a car on him already and he stayed right with me and I'd say we went up to about 70 maybe 80 and we were still at same distance apart.
So he rolls up next to me and we talk a little. He says, that's all stock right?! I told him mostly but not totally. He says yeah I heard I see your wife driving that around al the time. I told him its her Ty and I own the black one. I asked him what he had done to his Mustang and he said just a vortec kit 11psi:rotf: I guess he may need a few more psi. So then I look down at Tuner Pro only to find that Joe didn't upload the WGDC adjustment, so I raced that guy with only 10psi:rotf:If we had only caught a light, wouldn't even have been a race, especially had I been running 15. Still a win in my book though.
