vortec heads

i just got a set of vortec heads brand new oem with valves and springs. i was wondering if i should leave them stock or get them ported and polished. the motor is all stock even the fuel sysyem for now. first thing is to upgrade the fuel system. i want to put a bigger cam and beef up the bottom end .i just dont know when thats getting done but for the mean time should i just leave the heads stock for now then when i do the other stuff get them done, or still just leave them stock evn after i do the motor. thanks guys.

im waiting to get money from when the lady hit the front of my truck. im going to do most of the work myself on it. mid 11's would be nice for now. if all goes well i should be able to spend 5 or 6 grand give or take a few.
