Vibration Under Load w/ Partial Throttle...

Here is the situation.

So when I drive down the road it runs great under boost or when I take my foot off the gas. Even with slight gas its ok. Under load around 1500-2500 rpm there is a bad vibration. Seems that 2000 rpm is the sweet spot to rattle the fillings out of your teeth! At highway speeds its even worse. I have read about a propshaft vibration, could this be??

Background...
- New truck to me.
- Since I got it I replaced plug wires, cap & rotor, plugs, Ians vacuum line kit, fuel filter, wheels/tires, and chained the motor.
- It also has a terribly rough idle.

is it at 40 mph when its shifting in and out of O/D ....Mine vibrates when I am cruising around 40 and it wants to shift into OD....It seems like it doesnt do it when the tranny is cold ? I havnt pulled my prop shaft out yet, I was thinking tcc shudder.

Mine does it in O/D or out. Fast or slow, hot or cold. It does it when there is a load on the drivetrain and not WOT.

Driveshaft, yoke, ujoint. Leaning toward a bad yoke(bent).

Mine had a bunch of weird vibrations. Cab mounts were rusted out and EVERY end piece of the leaf springs were broken off the rest of the leafs. The shocks were the only thing holding the rear end up.

You can take the prop out and see if it goes away. If it does, you can get a new one. I have some, Scott has some.
