Well driver side motor mount was shot.. Swapped it out for a new OE style
replacement. Vibration still there.. The prop shaft looked beat.. Also saw a bit of oil on the passenger side of the front axle near the boot.. I guess i'll look into changing front diff fluid before hunting down a new/rebuilt prop shaft

My issue was I couldn't raise the engine enough to access that bolt before the bell housing contacted the tunnel, and the engine wouldn't go up any further. I gave up and read the Helms book. I couldn't believe what it said to do, but I did it, and it worked. Fortunately my DD is not rusty, and I had no complications from rusted fasteners.

The Helms manual instructs to remove the body mount bolts, and raise the body off the frame. (I found 2 2X4 block thickness under each front corner was sufficient). Once I did this, the mounts were easy-peasy. The body-raising procedure only adds 5 minutes, with no rust. And makes the entire job 2 hours shorter.

Wow! Thanks for the heads up... My mount was completely broken so it came out fairly easy with the diff lowered... Putting the new stock piece back on as a pain in the @ss...
