This was in the latest issue of Truck Trend. I've heard of this before but I was unaware that anyone had actually made it work.

I saw it at work about 6 months ago just could not talk about it, its really cool spools instantly and has top end. would be perfect for a street terror syclone.

I have one here to play with. For a little 600cc bike motor though.

Been out long time, the moving vanes though can act up, as it is in high heat and corrosion area. Control for it takes some "work" also.. Not same as reg. wastegate..

Just don't trust the injectors on that motor.

The turbo stuff - very cool, awesome performance, but they are still touchy as far as durability goes. Too hot, or a fast transition temperature wise, and the vanes have problems. They have to actually adjust the calibration to avoid problems with the vanes locking up, or becoming slow. Some of the engineers have told me the way to hurt that turbo, or to at least show its weakness when driving it. Dunno if they fixed that 'feature' or not, but i won't post it here.

Yeah I knew that they actually built them and gotten the concept to work, but making them last was another story. Oh well maybe someday will see one on a Sy/Ty.
