Valve covers for Vortecs ????

hey guys,
i just got the stock vortec valve covers and the dont fit. they arent tall enough to clear my comp rocker arms. the old stock ones seem to fit, but i had trouble getting the bolt holes to line up. do the stock covers fit?
what covers do i need to buy?

either stock or plastic covers work on all but the full roller rockers on any production 4.3 head.

Just curious. I have made aluminum sheetmetal valve covers for the brodix and bowtie style heads, but would there be any interest for them if used with the vortecs? They would be tall, and have rails slotted for pushrod clearance. Probably priced around $295 for the pair.

i have pics I can email, but nothing loaded up onto the www yet.

well the stock ones will clear my (full roller) rockers....so i will see if i can get them to work. Mike....i would be interested in those covers for the vortecs if you ever start producing them!!
