Typhoon to Syclone transfer case conversion.

What is involved in converting the Typhoon transfer case to use the same output shaft as the Syclone transfer case?

Part numbers and pricing would be appreciated.

easy... just leave the transfer case alone and use the right yoke (TY) on the front of the driveshaft.

I thought someone would say that. Okay, is there a cheap source for just the yokes? And would this yoke swap in any way screw the balance of the driveshaft up?

Have a driveshaft place make a shaft with the correct yoke - they'll balance it.

The slip joint on the Typhoon shaft is of a larger diameter. That is, the splined shaft from the transfer case is larger.

Anyhow, I remember running into that issue AFTER I put the transmission in the Syclone last summer, using the tranny from the Ty. I found out they were different the hard way.

Since I am looking to sell the Typhoon as a rolling chasis, I was considering keeping the transfer case, and want to be able to swap it with the old one without having to go to a driveshaft shop.
