ty front diff?

i am thinking about buying a ty,but the guy says it has a bad front diff not sure if this is so till i see it,but was there differnet gear ratios in them i know that the loacl pick and pull has a bravada.or are they easy to rebuild how mutch ?

The 7.2 IFS is one of the more difficult differentials to rebuild. The Typhoon came with 3.42 gears. You can swap the complete differential assembly with any S series 4X4 or AWD with a 3.42 gear, except the ZR2. If you use a 4X4 differential you will have to swap the companion flange for the prop shaft and swap the right axle and axle tube.

its also a LARGE PITA to pull out....
you can use a Bravada front diff as it is the same piece.
last one I got from a yard was $250.
Your purchase price should reflect the amont of work to do the front diff.......
