Hi.

I tried to search but did not find an answer.

So, how do confirm a ´93 Ty has a Ty transmission ? That is, by looking at it...

I´m considering getting my self a second Ty but I´m not sure how the dealer is trying to screw me . . .

I can´t use the search-function right. I always seem to get everything else I want.

Anyways, I´m going to see the Ty tomorrow.
White, and we have some 35 cm of snow here right now :)

Of course I care, It´s a Ty for g*d´s sake.

:) :)

Any tip is welcome, my first Ty was/is perfect, but this one I don´t know. It has been on the market for a year now so something must be wrong.
There´s like 10-15 Ty´s around here so not much knowlege.

I would love a Sy but I think there´s only 2 in Finland and neither is for sale.

Well I checked out the Ty today.
It seems to have an Ultimate chip in it. A2A IC too (small).
It was originally imported to Germany By Geiger (badge under the hood).
Could not test drive, summer tires and no inspection.
Couldn´t see the trans either.

Continues after Christmas.
