transmission shift kit

what shift kit would everyone reccomend for our transmissions..........I wanted to go with the Trans-Co stage 2....but seems u can only get the stage three and stage 2 in the same box.........for around $100 and i really dont want to pay for parts that im not gonna use.......(stage 3 part of the kit) cause i like my automatic.......if i wanted a standard id drive the wifes buttstank.........any help on this and ill be very greatful.......

No shift kit is needed if you have a Sy or Ty Valve body. Most shift kits are down grades.

i bought the trans go shift kit for my syclone and most of the parts were the same except for a few springs, but i put it in any way and it shifts a lot harder but sometimes squeals the transfer case for the shift.

im trying to find out why my trans is slipping between shifts.........its like its not building enough pressure..........i think the shop that rebuilt the trans put a bunch of regular s-10 stuff.........and when im in overdrive driving down the highway it wont downshift out of 4th no matter what speed...............45 mph all the way up to redline.........so im trying to rule out certain things.......i hope to god they reused the syty valve body...........

yep had the proper fluid level and the TV was almost all the way out.......i am in the process of replacing it......but if this doesnt work id like some more options to try...........
