i found this place on the web, seems liek they know their transes and make some heavy duty comp 700r4s and 4l60e and 4l80es anybody know anything about their product?

not sure bout them, dude if you want a seriously no bullshit strong tranny i recommend going here since ur in nj. http://www.ckperformance.com/ the guys name is chris, all work done in his shop with his own machines. this guy is the fricken master of trannys for turbo cars.

i wanst looking for 700r4 options, i was looking at 4l80e conversions and ones they built.

The Tahoe 4x4 uses a different transfer case and would need a different adapter than we use.

fair enough, figuring they claim holds 1000HP on their 4l80e it was worth looking at if nothing else

A backyard mechanic on crack can just about make an 80e hold 1000hp that is the advantage of the 80e.
