Does anyone know of a good cheap rebuilder somewhere between indianapolis and cincinatti? I'll pull the trans.
Ive got a 2wd 700R4 in my V8 truck, when im on it hard it slips when it shifts. Other than that it acts fine. Its only a mild 350 so I dont need a big build. Just a little better than stock rebuild will do it. Maybe something that will have a better shift feel. If I cant find someone cheap I might just take a stab at it myself with a kit from B&M or TCI.
Or if someone nearby knows how to do it I'll order the kit if you dont mind showing me what Im doing. I'll buy you lunch and some beer. Im an ASE tech but auto trans just isnt my thing.
