today my transmission stopped working. It acts like a car with a manual transmission does when the clutch is broken. it takes forever and high rem before it starts to move. and when it finally does i cant get it up too speed and when it start to go uphill it cant go any further.
So is my transmission broken or what. worked perfect until today.its the same in reverse.
Sorry for the bad spelling :)

Re: Transmission failure

Possible pump failure? What's in the pan for material? Metal shavings...condition of the fluid? When mine decided to shit the bed it dumped the 3-4 clutch i think....and the trans fluid was burnt like toast. It would drive but wouldn't go into 3rd and the rpms would just flare up when you gave it gas.... you will need to pull it out...it needs a rebuild definitely. Good luck man....I see your in norway...it might be tough to find a reputable builder. I did hours of research and told my builder what I wanted and he was familiar with the 700r4 and had some experience with them because he built them for a lot of camaros...firebirds....etc that tracked them at the strip. He has a secret "recipe " that has worked for him on a lot of performance cars. It cost me $800 for the rebuild after I r&r it. Again good luck!

it's always worth a shot but with what you said it seems like a pump....the only way to verify that it to take it out and inspect it or test it with a pressure gauge with the ports on the side of the trans.
