transmission doesn't shift

well, this problem happened 2 times now, first time was after my dad driving it, later my GF had the same problem.

the truck was started, put in reverse, after than in OD, and just didn't wanted to shift into second gear.

After that they shut down the car, and the problem went away.

does somebody knows what the deal is?
and the transmission still shifts good and firm, and the level of ATF is good.

and no, they didn't just put it into 1st gear.

Either the governor is sticking or the TV valve is stuck making the pressure so high that it won't allow the governor to allow the shift.

the tranny ain't gone, like i said, it's only happening after startup..it shifts good, i already locked up the TC while testdriving it no slipping tranny or whatsoever.
my GF loves these trucks...
i never experienced this problem myself
mmmmhh...i should let her pay for these things
