I was wondering what you can do to toughen on of these up, or ever if you can. ive looked around and i see that you can rebuild them pretty cheap, but what can you do to make them stronger, and what kinda power should you be able to put to one without repeated failure?

What kind of power are you trying to put through?

What failures are you seeing?

These tcases (the BW4472) are pretty stout, usually it's the trans that gives up first.

There are a few of these tcases that are pushing 8's and 9's in the 1/4. Sy's and Ty's aren't exactly lightweight, so that's a fairly large HP number.

If you go with an 80e conversion you can get the upgraded input shaft. Also you can upgrade the planetary and sun gear for around 1200 bucks if you can find the set up.

you shouldnt be making enough power to break one, its the last thing I would worry about.
