Transfer case ?'s

I was wonderinf if anyone would have the part number for the gasket that goes between the transfer case and the back of the trans? Also what do most of you guys generally use for fluid in your transfer cases? are you running royal purple, regular fluid? what have you guys found to work the best?

Courtesy of search and Mike Campbell. Just about anything having to do underneath, Mike has posted the part numbers and short writeup.

That fluid help lube the chain and keep the viscous cool. I've always used synthetic mobile 1 trans fluid in the transfer case.....NOT the transmission.

thank you very much for the part number#. Do you have to put an additive with thh fluid or just straight fluid

straight fluid. There's no clutches inside for any additive to work on.

speaking of trans casses is there any mods or anything wre can do to make them stronger live longer?

The only thing you can do, short of having custom input and output shafts done is cryo the shafts, the planetary and the chain. What I've seen is that the effects of cryo, due to the stress relieving, allow things to bend and stretch a little more before they give out. Basically buying more time if that makes sense.
