where is the best spot to mount the sender for the most accurate reading? The easiest would be right before it goes into the radiator, but is this accurate enough? also, what is most cost effective yet efficent cooler system? how hard are these things to mount under the bed on a Sy? after hearing the stories of cooked trannies from the TCC not locking up (ours doesnt) we think its time for some protection.

P.S.-where is a good place to get a gauge kit? would any auto parts store carry one? thanks!

There's a 1/8" NPT right on the driver's side of the tranny housing. I'm mounting my Autometer sender there.

Jer..... That is for setting your T/V pressure, If you ever have to set it it's a bitch to even get that out. I don't see how your going to put a sending unit in it. I cant even get my fingers up in there.

That bad? I heard about it and one of my buddies was up under his Typhoon and confirmed it was there. He said it would work but I haven't confirmed for myself how easy or hard it would be to get to.
