Trans questions

so i have a 95 lt1 with 4l60e, have the pcm, but kinda want to use just the trans, but gm want like 900 bucks for a stand alone pcm just for trans, any ideas?

Have you checked out painless wiring to see what their price is for a harness? or partstaxi or one of the wholesale sites?

I think TCI makes a standalone trans controller as well. Pretty sure it's cheaper than $900.
