i have 2, 2wd 700r4's and i do not remember which one came out of what car, one is from an s10 blazer and is good and the other is from an 80's v8 car of some sort, maybe caprice or something, but i know it's in need of a rebuild.
i can't tell the difference and i do not want to end up putting the wrong trans in and then find out it's the bad one, so is there some type of a vin number on the trans case at all that could be ran and identify what vehicle it came out of?
