Trans dipstick

Is the trans dipstick tube a standard 4.3 part, or SyTy specific?
Mine's kinda beat up, and I wanna put a clean one in with the new motor.

I am not sure if its SyTy specific but I have the tube and dipstick I pulled out of my 92 Ty if you need it.

I swapped mine to the locking 93 style, which was a different tube and stick.

Thanks... I may take you up on that if I can't find one locally.

I'm really lazy... I don't want to have to prep/paint it.

I'd kinda like the locking one myself, I've had instances where the dipstick popped up/out.

Prolly in the next couple weeks or so. I'm trying to have all my stuff in order so that when I go to drop the motor trans back in (sounds odd saying that) I'm ready to go.


Stop by on your way through, though... we can grab a bite someplace.

May 10 is early season T-N-T. They almost *never* get it in, though. Shoot, there's still a bunch of snow out there.
