I just bought the moroso fabbed aluminum trans pan (part number 42025, stock depth). It has two AN fittings on it. I bought it with plans to run an aux. trans cooler with the fan built in (B&M style) with manual on/off of course. I would have to use a transmission pump to pump the fluid to and from the cooler like the vettes use for the M6 trans. I'm going to mount it in the back of the truck under the front part of the bed. I will still be using the factory rad. cooler. My question is will running the pump while at the track starve the trans of needed fluid. When I say track use it will mostly be autocross. I know as it sucks up the fluid it returns the same amount, I'm just OCD. Would like some input on it (and the idea) before I drop the money for cooler, pump, and lines. My truck is all stock, so this is the first mod of many to come.
