Can anyone give me a quick heads up or pointer on the Trans adjustment. I am thinking its something down by the prop shaft and the bracket/assembly. I have removed the plastic clip one up on the throttle body and tugged on it a few times. Right now the truck does not shift into 2nd gear. I just warmed up the truck checked trans fluid it was a little low but with a top off it still is not shifting so I am moving on to figuring out the correct adjustment. Thanks

Sounds like something inside your trans is broke.No adjustment for that.

How do I adjust the TV cable. I just started the vehicle and it makes a funny noise like a ticking on the driver side underneath. Sounds like some teeth biting or nibbling at something. I put the shifter from P to move to the next down and the noise slightly went away in between the movment. Also I had truck in Neutral and reved it 1--2 times and the truck was walking on me.

I think the cable needs adjustment. If Its something I can do at home here let me know ahead. The manual I have on GMC syclone only shows gauges and pressure readings. I read another members post recently and he described some clicks and other adjustments

Is this the trans adjuster? Push the metallic part in. pull cable out or bring cable to WOT?

cable did retract and I seen some teeth on the cable come out as it retracted. Have not road tested the truck. Is this correct? You can see how far the cable retract.

After you press in the button/metal part push that sleeve that comes out back in towards driver side fender. Now just rotate the throttle to WOT and as you do that you will hear it click a few times as the sleeve comes back toward the passenger side.

The 2-4 band is probably broken.Adjusting the TV cable won't fix that :2cents:

I did get it to click I suppose it is adjusted. Will test and see what happens. If still acts up everything is getting pulled real soon.
