well after a long weekend of mods/mini meet/snow play....my ty is acting strange
From a stop the truck doesn't shift into 2nd gear until about 3500 rpms or more. It won't shift into 4th gear at all....i only went up to about 80mph, and it still wouldn't shift into 4th gear. This was for an 1 and 1/2 hour drive too...on the highway.
Also, recently (twice) the truck has semi-violently popped out of gear trying to shift from 1st to 2nd...once on the road, once doing a donut in the snow.
Heres what was done to the truck this weekend:
160 shaw thermostat
rerouted ic hoses
255lb/hr high pressure wallbro
new fuel filter
made and installed front air scoop
new a/c fan motor
new map vacuum line (i broke the plastic one)
removed mysterious pliers found in back of engine bay from who knows how long ago - they're OLD though (I've only had the truck 2 months)
changed rear differntial fluid
refilled front differential fluid (1qt low!)
changed oil / filter
checked tranny fluid - ok (changed it 3k ago)
semi-realigned front bumper/grill, still not 100% though
mounted B&M tranny cooler (don't have lines yet for it though)
removed ELC fuse since rear shocks don't air fill properly
and thats all I can remember that got done....there was more on the agenda though. Only other things not stock on the truck are the jabsco ic pump and 3" borla exhaust. Any thoughts/suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
