Tranny Cooler

With ALL of the available space to install add-on's, where might you put such an item?
The reason I ask is I have a big cooler with a fan (Permacool w/1050 cfm fan) and the only place I could find to install was under the bed, where the spare tire once was. Then I decided it might be nice to have a spare if I ever got a flat.
So now I'm trying to find room to install the 2 B&M streetrod coolers I have. Even this is proving to be a challenge.
Bigger line = more better
I will be running 8 -an line for my cooler lines. Mostly because I had a lot left over after plumbing the engine lines.
The 700R4 guru told me bigger would be an improvement over the small dia. stockers.

Didn't actually install it, it was just one of the few places I could see that might have room for a large cooler.
I have since abandoned that project, so the cooler sits on the shelf.
Looked to be much easier to install 2 small coolers instead of 1 big one. That's why I switched to the small B&M streetrod coolers.
Haven't really found an ideal location for them either. I might just have to compromise on the location.

I used a pair of the B&M Street Rod coolers on the old build-up of my original Sy. I mounted them flat below the foglights; tranny on the passenger side, engine oil on the driver's side. I ran both of them in series after the factory coolers in the radiator, and used a 142* thermostat. (I'm sure the lower coolant temps help the factory radiator coolers extract more heat from the oils.) I never had a heat related problems, even running a 4k stall non-lock up in the South Florida heat. If you need some feedback from someone who has mounted coolers beneath the bed with a fan, contact Gary Shanock...he has a tranny cooler set up like that.

im just curious, not being a smart ass, but what is the fan for?
i installed a BIG tranny cooler on my truck. its slightly smaller than the AC radiator, and it never even gets hot to the touch. im just wondering how much more efficient it would be with a fan? BTW, i removed my AC radiator, since it wasnt being used, and bolted the cooler in its place. ill try and get a pic or two up tonight.

I bolted the cooler flanges directly to the lower lip of the front bumper beneath the fog lights. The coolers laid flat along the lower edge of the bumper (parallel to the ground). I used 90* fittings into the ports on the coolers. And, I secured the oil lines to the bumper braces with tie wraps for additional support and to keep them from rubbing on anything.

I have the biggest PermaCool with integrated fan mounted where the spare was in my Sy. Spare hasn't been in for years anyway for weight savings. AAA card weighs much less. Cooler is mounted with hand fabbed brackets to existing holes in the frame and crossmember. Fan is on top blowing down through the core so it doesn't suck up debris. Temps in the pan are around 140 most of the time, top out around 155-160 after 1/4 mile passes and Todd maneuver launches. I ran 5/8 hoses to and from the tranny, and I'm completely bypassing the cooler in the radiator and the metal lines.

I looked at summit and jegs, didn't see the cooler. Could you describe the size/dimensions of the one you had under the foglights, please? Or a place that sells them?
I have the radiator area space taken up with a aux IC cooler. I thought about maybe getting the frame rail type tranny cooler, and a derale pan. Just want to get the cooling sufficient so I can put the 9/11 in.
