tps volts and open loop

Nick ny is over right now. We got his tps% to 100 and took it for a dm run. The tps volts however were 4.33. The l-terms are 131 and the s-terms are 128 at wot. This is not open loop right because the terms should lock onto 128 right? We still have a lean condition. o2 mv's are in the 815-840 range. What voltage is needed to get open loop? He has a pitbull chip.

open loop is based on coolant temp and the o2 sensor...the o2 must be up to operating temp ....but the ecm will try and go closed loop based on coolant temp...then if the O2 doesnt work it will go back to open loop and set a code for 02

Don't worry about the tps voltage. If the O2 sensor is not new, it may get lazy and not read as high. I think you are running open loop at wot, and I wouldn't worry about that either.

If you are getting excessive knock retard, switch back to the stock chip.
