Big thanks to all those who made it out to Shindig and helped make the event what we hoped it would be. We hope everyone had a great time (from the looks of it, you guys did) and got to enjoy the fun even though it was basically on the verge of snowing the entire weekend. Got to meet some new faces, and I think we might have converted a few people from drag race only to now wanting to AutoX nonstop (told you guys its addicting).

All I know is that we woke up this morning to our room littered with Yuengling, both empty and unopened cans and bottles everywhere.

I have some vids to post up and we'll post results from racing, awards, etc.


Right now, Im gonna go pass out for a bit.

This was truly a class act event all the way!!! You and Michael did a splendid job planning everything out and it sure was nice to put faces with names. Sorry I couldn't stay for the 1/8th mile racing but that leaves something in the future to aim for. Kudo's to the F.A.S.T. team!

Yes, Mike and the gang surely pulled offa nice Shindig! Too bad I was only able to be there for the first day.

Hopefully this can become a yearly event!

Sure I speak for everyone when I say I had a blast. Got to put faces and personalities with screen names, absorb a bunch of knowledge and suggestions and experience the best 38.2 seconds of my life (thanks Shaun!).

Can't control the weather. Will just remember next time to pack more than 2 sweatshirts for November trips!

Like Adam said, we were really pleased with the way the weekend turned out. You guys seemed to have a great time, and I for sure did. Despite the handful of truck issues we had, we had some really nice runs (at the autox and drag alike) and the videos of those runs are cool as can be. I was gonna make another post, but will just keep things consolidated. Here goes:

Mandi/Dennis - Mandi, you were delegated more than I anticipated this weekend, but you never once turned down a chore. Dennis, you did an awesome job on the plaques/trophies! An absolute first class family.
Gary/Dunwoody - both of you guys lead part of the pack when traffic broke us all up....big thanks for that.
Bucc. Region SCCA - they put on the autocross and did a splendid job! A classy group indeed.
Red Roof Inn - they basically let us have the hotel lot.....never complained, never made a fuss.
Rodney - you flew across the country to hang out with southerners....a little creepy, but mad respect. You made me laugh more than I can count and hung out with me yesterday.....that alone deserves a thanks.
T-Bone/Cloneman/SlowGN/Gary/WPB guys/and everyone else from afar - you drove......a lot. Thanks for making the event.....if you didn't choose to travel, it woulda been me, Pope, and Jimmy hanging out.
Jimmy V - you were ready to help at the drop of a hat....and did. Thanks man.

Big thanks to everyone that made this event happen. I can't wait till next year when I can AutoX the pro street Syclone, sell it to Harmon and go home.:rotf:

BTW.... thanks for getting me hooked on the autoX... now I have to spend more money.
