tcc doesn't lockup and doesn't trip code

i could use a little help from the studio audience. i just replaced the ignition switch and key switch in my ty with the ones out of my 93 chevy blazer parts truck and now it seems like my tcc doesn't wanna lock up any more it really sucks, and it's killing my gas milage. can anyone tell where to trace the wiring too and from from the computer and the tranny

aldl port + paper clip = locked torque converter

okay which ports on the aldl port? and does the little cable that runs to between the ignition switch and the shifter have anything to do with the tcc?

It's probably killing your trans too. You may have done something to your brake switch. Do the paperclip deal on the aldl port to see if it can manually locked up. Once you hit 2nd gear, it will lock up doing the ALDL method unless your brake switch is always engaged.

Check you brake switch as mentioned above.

Chances are you bumped it out of adjustment. The brake switch is a white plastic deal that has a plunger thet extends when you hit the brakes, just push the switch into the retainer so that the plunger is held in by the pedal.

This will all make sense once you take a look under the dash, it's kinda hard to explain.

There's a graphic. Take a paper clip and stick between those two once you get the brake switch figured out. Like Jimmy said. Take the A terminal and connect it to F. By ground that voltage, your doing the same thing your ecm does only externally.

i pulled the bottom of my dash and found that i'd knocked the brake switch with the vacum line on it apart. i put it back together and now at 60mph my tach is showin aruond 1850-1900rpm does that sound about right?

on my aldl port i also have a connector in slot g and when i cross that with H it unlocks my doors and pops my hatch

Popping your hatch has nothing to do with this. You may end up damaging something else. Concentrate on getting this fixed.
Cruise RPM is not how you check it. Get to a steady cruise and tap the brake pedal and when the converter unlocks like it is supposed to, you will see a small rpm jump. Don't hold the brake pedal. Tap it. The converter should then immediately reengage and you'll see the rpms come back down.

yeah i think i got it. goin down the road i tapped the brake pedal and see about a 200 rpm jump and then it drops right away again. as far as the cruise rpm i was curious if that's what i should see or if i'd hurt my tranny yet and it was starting to slip a little.
