T-Case woes

Hi guys,

I'm trying to get the FILL plug off my T-Case. It's jammed in there.

Tried a couple hits of PB Blaster; no help.


Any ideas?

I always smack the bolt/nut whatever with a hammer dead on and this will force it against the slop in the threads thereby braking loose whatever rust/junk was holding it. also might try some heat on the outside of the case around the perimeter of the opening.

If you cant get the fill plug out and you have to fill it then just pump the correct amount in thru the vent hole instead. I think it's 1-1.5qts. it wont be exact but it should be close enough.

I have a portable heat wrench if you need to barrow it or if you want to stop by we'll get it out. :tup:
