Hi everyone well we are planning yet another bay area SyTy owners get together. Conversation started between myself and a Sy owner from Santa Rosa at Tom Dowd's recent July 10th party. It was mentioned that a large private ranch is located nearby which can be used for private events and BBQ's with arrangement by the owner. The ranch has many old and vintage farm equipment on display as well as a relocated vintage Signal Gas Station from years gone by. The owner also has a collection of cars that he will allow us to see the day of the event. So I thought it might be nice to have a late Summer or early fall gathering there. So we are openning voting from the following dates the owner has said are okay with him.
Available dates are: Sept. 18, 25, Oct 2, 9, and 16.
Since this is a working ranch there will be no rest room facilites available so we are looking into having a chemical toilet made avaialble for the event. We will be taking a collection at the event to help cover the cost of this.
Also on the property is a really cool vintage oil can museum that we can walk through during the day.
As votes come in to me at mtb9192@juno.com we will figure out a starting time for the event and driving instructions to Stoke Ranch.
