1991 GMC SYCLONE - TurboCharged 4.3 w/ 4 Speed Automatic w/ All Wheel Drive. Tape Deck, Sunroof, Alarm & Car Cover. Miles: 107,746... Engine pro rebuild at 94,000... Runs Good, Looks good, Not a Showcar, it's a great driver... Purchased this in 2000. Fenders, Tailgate, & Bulkhead Replaced w/ New in 2000 & Refinished Artic White... Always garaged since...I am 61 years old and a adult driver... I have NEVER abused this truck! The truck is listed in the Syclone & Typhone Registry with me as the owner.

That's a really nice color combo on a Sy. Sunroof and all. I agree about the syclone sticker on bed cover :rainbow:

Why does it drvie me crazy when people put the door stickers up high on the door like that? I mean I can handle the tonneau and sunroof..but the door sticker...ahhh!:rant:

It may be the picture resolution but it looks like your upper radiator hose has a crack. Good luck with the sale. Since its already non-stock color I would take all the decals off and make a great "sleeper"

Sunroof. Really? WTF...

I like the color combo though. And when he says he replaced the "bulkhead" does he mean firewall or core support? Almost sounds like it was in a decent wreck...

And that drivers side fender cladding to bumper gap has got to be the worst I've seen.

I'm going to assume that bulkhead means the front box panel.

I wouldn't even classify that as a gap. It looks ridiculous. The bumper has to be a full inch above the fender cladding.

Anyone know how to get an emblem on your tonneau?

Anyone know anything more on this truck? Its like 15 mins from me. I dont really know that I'd give 10k for it but I'd go look it over. Anyone call and get an answer? Just rings for me.

It doesn't belong to anyone in this thread. It belongs to John Bloom. powercat just posted what he found online, which is why it's in "ebay auctions/internet finds" and not "trucks for sale". Mr. Bloom also sells toy cars on ebay.

Ok first Mr. Bloom, is a very nice guy, I stood and shot the shit with him for a while. The truck has not been on the road since 09. It dose run but not all that well from what I saw and what he said. 'Miles: 107,746... Engine pro rebuild at 94,000". It He said it was "detuned" by the original owner whom he got it from. I did not drive it he just pulled it out and let it idle. The paint is not good, he painted it in his garage and did not mask well at all. Over spray on allmost all of the trim\ weather striping. Cladding was removed as I could see under it in some places. Rear right corner has large crack. Front bumper support is deff jacked up. Both fenders were replaced because of rust:doh:, as was the "Bulkhead" as he says (front of bed). The front of the frame is crusty but not rotted, the back was coated with some paint or por15 type stuff and looked ok. He said the original owner drove it year round:tdown:. Had original shocks, rims looked a bit flaky. Has new gas tank and pump. head liner is sagging. The sun roof looks like it was installed by a pro but idk. Carpet was iffy. Seats looked ok. Had original stereo. Under hood is not clean... He is not coming off $10k. If I tried really hard and bug the guy he might go 9.5k. To me as this was my first look at a sy Id give the guy About $6-7k at most. I did not offer him anything tho I just said I had others to look at and told him I hope he gets what he is asking.

sounds like a 5k truck at best. and thats no "lowball" in this market. hell, i would not pay over 4, but that is me.

I hate it when someone changes the color and leaves the firewall the previous color. NOT cool at all......

How in the hell do you "detune" a motor? What would be the purpose of detuning a classic piece of hotrod history? Kind like buying the highest hp vette out there and "detuning" it.

adjust the wastegate rod so you don't run full boost. it would better help with the life of the motor i suppose.
