Here's some background info: The skid plate(plastic) is cracked so I am replacing it--had one made out of steel;also decided to make a 1.5 inch longer CCHE deflector(opted not to make a scoop blade/blade of death); I am wondering, since the skid plate is removed and everything behind the cche is exposed, is there any modification I should do---wrap/shield anything,replace?...I have already rerouted intercooler lines( 3/4 in heater hose) to outer engine bay, used roof shielding around entire intercooler.....any suggestions appreciated... i may add a fan in front of CCHE--only mounting it securely could be a problem and may obstruct airflow(unless always running)...
