I was wondering if anyone had a stock Typhoon converter laying around and could give me the code from the sticker on it? Should be a 4 didgit code something like DCNF or similar. Thanks

92 but if you have a 93 would also be curious. I am gathering parts for my rebuild. I have a factory 2100 stall that also has a brazed impellar I might be putting init. Just curious as to what came in them from the factory. I know what they are rated at doesn't mean that is what it stalls and I have the sheet for breaking down the four digit code so I was curious what they have.

The DCNF was a factory used in some vehicles that according to GM/Dayco build sheet is a 2175rpm stall speed with a brazed impellar. I have a couple of those at my shop and was thinking about using one of them in my rebuild. That is why I was wondering what was factory just trying to compare the stall speeds.

Well I got my trans out and the sticker was not on the converter. I have 2 converters at my shop I can try one of them is a DCNF and the other is a DCLF. Which one would you say go with? On the sheet is says the difference is 110# vs 100# and graphite clutches vs carbon clutches.

Mainly stock motor and turbo. Might eventually do a boost controller and a chip/tuning. It had an eger delete when I got it and from past reading looks like a po changed the chip, but I havent verfiied yet. I am adding a Walbro pump and afpr already had hot wire kit on it. Not going to wild on this one but I do want to add a little more power. I really don't want a 2800 stall with driving it once and while on the street but would like a little more than what it had factory. That is why I started thinking about the ones I had here at the shop since they are 2000 stalls.
