stock heads

are the stock heads on a syclone the same as a regular s-10 4.3. if ththey are is worth port and polish. i have a set of reg. s-10 4.3 heads when i did a motor swap on my 88 s-10 blazer. i really dont want to go trough with the bull of getting the vortec heads drilled. nobody around here know how to do that. thanks guys

To answer your question, yes the heads you have are the same as the SyTy heads. Now, as far as porting and polishing the stock heads, if you are going to do it yourself and since you already have the heads I guess that would work if you are looking at saving $$$. But you would be better off getting some L-35 heads that already flow more than most stock ported heads and bolt directly up.
