Ive been pondering this for a while now. I came home a few weeks ago and as i pull into the driveway my buddy informs me that he saw my driver side front tire spark from behind the rim. Now when i cruise at any given speed i get a nice rubbing sound (not constant, more like a 1/4 a wheel rubbing so its rub rub rub rub) Im gona yank the wheel off in about an hour and see whats up, Anyone have any clues to what it could have been?

Re: Sparks!

It could be an obstruction in the brake line that is keeping the caliper from fully retracting. The brake lines deteriorate from the inside out.

I would replace the brake line first and see if that fixes it.
