has anyone ever tried magnecor spark plug wires? They are supposed to be great and very good for high heat applications like ours?

I'm not a fan of 'em. I've used 'em and we are currently using them on the Braphoon (running fine btw), but I'd much rather use Taylors. They are definitely not any more heat resistant, and I've heard that they have given many people hard times about warranty replacements.

Hey Simple Green remember when I was having those problems with those holley plug wires?

Guess what?

Swapped 'em out, problem gone...
Hmmm.
Not sure if they were arc'ing like you mentioned or if it was the #2 plug wire that had the guts loose in it when I de-installed, but thought you would like to know...

I had problems with the Holley wires also. I removed the metal cap insulators and no more problems. I am still keeping the set of ATR's in the tool box.
