Spark Plug ?'s

These trucks are cursed
i pulled out my old plugs today, only to find that not a single one of them was gapped properly. they werent even close to .030 ...i know the proper gap is .035 would not having proper gapped plugs, take away performance? it appears as though, the guy just pulled em outta the box and tossed em in, and didnt even check the gap.

also my plugs have a nice golden/rust color on the conductor, and some black spots, on a couple of the plugs. i dont have a digicam, otherwise id post pics. but what do those colors mean? is that the color of normal wear?

ill post results, after i make a test run, with the new cap, rotor, plugs, and wires!

thanks dave!

i also forgot to include the best part in my first post... 2 of the old plugs were the wrong ones! they were R42TS not CR42TS... that right there is enough motivation to not take my truck to just any shop, which is apparently what the previous owner did.
