I do have cosmos but that was not done with it.
I honestly don't see the shaft as a big problem for 99% of the trucks and owners.
The cost to do billet would be crazy stupid in the qty's I could manufacture/sell.
The other thing is, if I was going to have a weak spot, this is almost the perfect place to have it as it will not cause any other damage and is fairly cheap to fix. Again for the 1% that might stress it to that point.
As far as Ed's shaft he broke, there is still debate on it being welded or not. Until I see pictures of what the break looks like I can't decide myself. I do know some aftermarket shafts being sold ARE welded, just not sure if his was or not personally.
I talked to Robert the other day from Sweden about his 4l80e. He has like 1k runs on his output shaft without issues and it is done in the same way as the ones George and I have offered.
