Shuddering, ugh...

So on my way back down to Knoxville, a problem started. Everything was great until about 100 miles from Knoxville (after about 400 miles). At this point the car starts to shudder under acceleration from any point. I tried to stay off the throttle all the rest of the way. As soon as I got it back home, I got under the hood. I started with the latest things that I have put on. I reroute some wire away from heated sources, thinking they were being heat soaked. Didnt' work. I unplugged the MSD I had put on a few days earlier. I took the truck out for a drive still nothing. I took special notice that they shuddering was going on in 2,3, and 4th gear. The shuddering gets worse as you go up through the gears. It feels almost as if the car is bogging down in itself. I tested it in neutral and the engine responded well to a few revs. Once it gets to OD it is fine. Does this mean I need to have my tranny rebuilt? Probably does. Just need some input from you guys. Thanks.

If you know any tranny shops in the Knoxville area, let me know. I can't afford to have the tranny shipped out to the egde of the country. I need to drive back to Wooster in two weeks.
