Should I purchase....

two 4L80E transmissions. These are gonna be the model that range around 1991 to 1996. tehy showed up today at the engine core supply I work at part time. I have no idea if they are good or need to be rebuilt becasue they came from a junkyard. They dont have convertors with them. Is $150 a piece a good price? Let me know what you guys think.

sounds good to me i think core charges run around 400 so if you can get them for 150 thats pretty good

I'd take one for that price. I'm near you and can come pick it up, too. Let me know. I'll take the newer one - as long as it's rebuildable and the case is undamaged.

Im sure you would :rotf: :rotf: :rotf: ...Im thinking of keeping one for the Sy and putting the other in my Chevelle with a 6.0 LSX up front....I think im gonna buy them both.

I'd say if it's a rebuild able core it's def a good price.

That is a good price for even a parts trans. You won't go wrong. 4l80e trend is catching on as more people do it and computers are not as scary to most.

Thanks for the input guys...Im gonna pull the trigger on these..I will also let me boss know that I will purchase every one that he gets in and I will try to make them available to people here if anyone is interested.
