well i was crusin my xtreme threw town when i got cut off by a fox body mustang, so being the mini-trucker i am, i got in front of him an laid it out,:rotf: well i cought a light with him then an he wanted to run, i said i wouldnt waste my time in this cause its just my toy, but i said i got this jimmy i'd run you in, he laughed an said lets go. so i met up with him at a gas station in town once i grabbed my typhoon, the kid obviously didnt know much about GM or this type of "Jimmy" he laughed when i pulled in, that was until we lined up an i held 3 car lengths on him from 0 to 110 we went back to the gas station and he pretty much said whats up with that thing whys it squat and take off so fast, i explained it all to him an he asked me if i wanted to trade/ and or sell it. i laughed an said take it easy man i'm going to embarass some more dudes an i drove away.

his mustang had a 5.0 w/ 70 trim turbo, 3" full exhaust, waste gate, 3:73 posi and some other shit an was tuned/dyno at a local shop called PSI motorsports he claimed it had 425 at wheels.. i'm pretty sure with my ty being practially stock he should of shit on me atleast from 50mph on, but i help 3 cars on him?

depends. i got a twin turbo 5.0 witn an incon set.. the set can do handle 800HP......'
than again if you were heding him untill 110mph, i say he's full of shit with the 425 at the wheels

Something is not right. Either he is full of shit on his mods, his tune was WAY off, or he wasn't on it. That build, even at a very mild level, should trap 120+. You should have put a couple on him from the hole, and then he should have come by like you dropped a boat anchor.

I planned on building a 408" single turbo for this, until I got my Syclone.
Turbo'd Fox bodies are usually super fast if they ever hook up.

Something is not right. Either he is full of shit on his mods, his tune was WAY off, or he wasn't on it. That build, even at a very mild level, should trap 120+. You should have put a couple on him from the hole, and then he should have come by like you dropped a boat anchor.

Definitely. I took my old man's C6 Z06 and ran it against a bolt on Ty with a high-stall converter. It seemed like he had the entire intersection on me from the boost launch. It was absolutely terrible for the Ty after the launch though. I made up the entire gap in first gear alone and straight up ripped the paint off of it as I went by and that is a car that traps 125-127 in stock form. As you said, it looked like he dropped a boat anchor and that's what 20+ mph trap speed advantage looks like. Something is wrong with the Stang or he is lying about his mods.

DITTO. My Z06 is incredible and off the chain when placed in competition mode. My 93 notch is a tad faster. It has a 331 stroker Sportsman block, trick flow heads, bassani full exhaust, Vortech V-3, yada-yada and ran a 10.18 at 16 psi on MT street radials. 400+ HP at the wheels on the notch he ran is very reasonable given the mods posted.

Yup! It's amazing how fast a C6 Z06 is considering it's a stock car. Heads/cam cars ran in the 9s at over 140. Plain crazy!

It was tuned by PSI and didn't grenade during the race, Those guys get some good HP numbers, but you hear nothing but horror stories about the their tunes blowing apart. Of course, if you ask them, its never their fault
