shifter cable clip issue

the shifter cable clip wont stay on the shifter. the end of the pin is worn down on a 45, so the clip keeps popping off.

any ideas what i can do?

You could alway replace the pin. The transmission side would be a lot easier as it is probably a common part. The shifter linkage side, probably means you would need to find a shifter assembly.
