My transmission doesn't seem to have the harsh 1-2 shift anymore after rebuild and new TC. I have a TCS 9/11 stall converter.
Side Note: I ordered a 2800 rpm stall but I sent it back for 2500 rpm stall. I don't think TCS ever restalled though. I had talked to TCS on the phone before sending it in. He said to leave my info and he would call me. 2 month later after hearing nothing I call him up. He said he had no idea why I sent it because it was brand new :roll: I told him my build changed. Two month later I call again nothing happened (6 months total). I called again, the guy handling my TC was on vaction, but they said my TC was done.
It shifts quick but not harsh and I do have an original Sy Valve Body. It sort of shifts like my 2-3 shift at part thottle (no WOT yet) and reminds me of how my Corvetted shift. Is this normal or should I be looking diagnosis this problem. It doesn't fell like the trans is slipping and I am getting normal trans temps (160-180 during normal driving)
