They've been sponsoring the nats in the past few years, giving away a trans build.
Adam down here has one backing up his stock motor, pte 52. I believe he only has 500 or so miles on it but its been fine so far...

its not for my ty, its for a pos dodge caravn , i want to get one over the counter and there pol;icy of paying the core charge and waiting three weeks to get it back just while they tear down your old one to check it out for damadged hard parts just sounds kinda fishy to me.

i have about 800 on it now.
So far so good... small period this weekend were i though something was broke. hanging up in high RPM on shifts. fluid change fixed it.
I have the Dr. Evil build, whatever the hell that means. For backing their shit up like they do, they need to start saying whats in the damn thing...cause I know its nothing special from what anyone else does.
Their customer services sucks. And if you end up doing your trans there, strip it of everything. I left a few brackets on mine, only to not recieve them back. After calling to get my parts that they didnt put back on, they denied it, even after I took pictures of the trans being packed up with the parts on it that were missing. I had to aquire new pieces.
The warranty they gave me... 3 months or 3000 miles. Fawq You. If I used any other TC than what I bought through them, they wouldnt honor a warranty. My truck barely sees 3000 miles in 5 months if that....and the hell if im going to pay to ship my trans from FL to IL to get it fixed under warranty if it breaks.
So, because of their lack of customer service and plain disregard for anything, I dont recommend them at all.
They may be able to build a SyTy tranny, but treating your customer right is asking to much from them.
If you need some backup, I'll get others in here who live just down the road from RoadMaster and arent to happy with them.

They got me for 2 trans rebuilds, a transfer case and a front differential. After all that you's think that they would treat you better? Well I will not fo back there again. I was having trouble with the rear hubs on my vette and asked if they could change them out. I asked for a time table for when I could bring it in so the down time would be minimal. Never could give me one and when I contacted Bill (the owner), he got all pissy with me because I said that Danny (co-owner) wasn't helping me out.
The long and short of it all is that I will never go back there now. My "rebuilt" front differential now makes some kind of thud noise when a move from a stop, and my propshaft has some hex head bolts in it. I wonder if their hardened? Live and learn (and pay, 7K).
