Replacement shifter cable bellows / boot?

Any have or know where to get the bellows / boots for the O.E.M. shifter cables? I have several good cables but the frigging boots are cracked and rotted on all of them :rant:

Mine is also ripped up like that. Is there a consequence if dirt gets inside? What is the boot protecting?

On stock setups there is no dust sleeve so the assembly can corrode and wear out. I can't gaurantee this will fit but you can try this:
